The bag, it is here!
This is ridiculous! I got an email from Tower Ridge this morning, around 8am, saying the bag had just been posted first class. It arrived with the post today! They’re based in Perth so that’s pretty impressive. Perth to Skye by 2pm. Superb service. What was the first thing I had to do? Get in it!
As expected, the hood is perfect. It has a tiny stuff sack but compresses down to almost nothing, is silky smooth and very very warm. I had to jump out straight away before I melted. Looking forward to trying it out. Might go to Beinn Macdui. I have no scales to weight it but it’s lighter than the Big Rab and certainly much lighter and smaller than the Buffalo Bag.

Dawn made the curtains. Nice and heavy to keep the cold out! Didn’t have much choice in the bag colour Alan, was the only one available at 50 quid off! But it is rather jolly once you get used to it.
