About

Welcome to the eBothy blog. I’m Alistair and that’s me in the picture, on the summit of Meall Chuaich. I’ve been walking and climbing for 23 years, mostly in the Scottish Highlands but also the Lakes and Snowdonia, as well as the Pyrenees, Alps and Atlas. I have the ML(S) award (Summer Mountain Leader) and am working towards the winter ML. I’m also a leader with HF Holidays, leading walking groups in various areas of the UK. If you’d like to contact me, you can email me at guiding@stravaiger.com
You can book me for summer mountain walking, including some of the less intimidating Cuillin and being fluent in Gaelic, you’ll get some background information on the names of mountains and plants in the areas I cover.
